Headshot! Bonk’s new game is kill

-

The Solana memecoin you’ve probably heard about, just went full throttle into gaming. Bonk launched Bonk Arena, a fast-paced, top-down arcade shooter that’s not just about fun, but earning real money. Pay-to-spawn, win-to-earn.

It’s like your office’s fantasy football league, but instead of bragging rights, you’re chasing tokens.

Shots fired

Bonk Arena dropped this Monday, cooked up by Bravo Ready, the people behind Solana’s BR1: Infinite shooter.

This is Bonk’s first fully licensed game, stepping up from being just a memecoin dabbling in crypto projects to a legit gaming contender.

How does it work? Players pay 10,000 BONK, about 17 cents at today’s prices, to spawn in the game.

Then, when you take out another player, you inherit their stake, minus a small fee that can be anywhere from zero to ten percent.

It’s a high-stakes game of digital tag, with real token rewards on the line. Imagine your office’s coffee fund, but every time you win a meeting, you grab a little extra cash from the pot.

Dominate

Bonk’s core contributor, Nom, revealed that they’re pumped to see how the community reacts.

And it’s exclusive to the Phantom wallet, so if you’re a Phantom user, you can jump right in on your phone or web browser.

Plus, it’s coming soon to the handheld PSG1 gaming device, so you can take your „kill-to-earn battles”, as some descirbe them, on the go.

To sweeten the pot, Bonk’s team threw in additional BONK tokens for extra rewards.

Sometimes, players will get surprise token drops for their kills, and there’s a prize pool for content creators hyping the game on social media. It’s like your office’s Employee of the Month bonus, but way cooler.

Utility

Bravo Ready’s CEO, Evan Ryer, says this game is about giving Bonk real utility through competitive gameplay.

And every kill, every spawn, gets recorded on the blockchain, cranking up the on-chain volume for Bonk tokens.

Half the game’s revenue goes towards burning BONK tokens, rewarding players, and donating to Bonk for Paws charity.

The other half buys back Bravo Ready’s own READY token, which launched late last year and is already making big noise.
