Aster Mulls Vesting Schedules Before Airdrop Snapshot

-

Aster is weighing vesting schedules for the upcoming Aster airdrop, CEO Leonard said on a livestream. He set a window of two to three days to decide and publish details.

The update is due before the season two snapshot on October 5 at 11:59 pm UTC.

“I think we reserve the right of doing it. We will kind of decide things and announce it,”

Leonard said. He added,

“In the next two to three days, you can expect us to make a final decision and release that explanation.”

Aster Airdrop Vesting Schedules Under Review

Aster presented vesting schedules as a way to set clear flows for the ASTER token. The goal is to align existing holders and Aster airdrop recipients. The Aster team is drafting the rules now.

Leonard said the decision covers the unlock method and timing. It also covers the mix of recipients across season two. The Aster airdrop design will apply at snapshot.

Because the Aster airdrop snapshot is close, timing matters. Leonard said the vesting schedules decision comes within days. Aster token recipients should know the rules before October 5 at 11:59 pm UTC.

Aster Season Two Airdrop Plans: 320 Million ASTER Tokens

Earlier guidance said Aster allocated more than 50 percent of the ASTER token supply to community airdrops.

The team set 320 million ASTER tokens for season two participants. They valued that pool near 600 million dollars at the time.

On the livestream, Leonard did not change the Aster airdrop pool size. He focused on vesting schedules, unlock cadence, and recipient flows. The Aster token distribution method remains under review.

The Aster airdrop points cutoff for season two is October 5 at 11:59 pm UTC. The team aims to publish the vesting schedules decision before that moment.

Therefore, Aster users will see if a staggered unlock or another method applies.

Aster Perp DEX Volume on DefiLlama Hits 85 Billion Dollars

DefiLlama showed Aster perp DEX volume near 85 billion dollars in 24 hours on Monday. That level was more than twelve times the next venue, Lighter, for the day.

The spike arrived as the season two airdrop cutoff neared.

The Aster team did not tie the Aster perp DEX volume to a specific trigger. However, interest often rises near Aster airdrop dates. Incentives can also affect short term activity.

Community comments noted that Aster perp DEX volume may shift as rewards change. The final vesting schedules could add a new factor.

The market will receive the Aster token distribution detail before the snapshot.

Aster Token Sell Pressure Question: Four Percent Release

Leonard asked whether releasing four percent of supply would create sell pressure on the ASTER token. He said Aster is testing distribution paths. The Aster airdrop framework will reflect that review.

The Aster team is running through unlock options that include vesting schedules. It is also assessing the flow across season two recipients. The Aster token plan will show the final mix.

The two to three day window places the decision before October 5. That timing gives Aster airdrop participants clarity at snapshot. Dates, pools, and numbers remain as stated by Aster.

Aster Airdrop Timeline and Next Notices

The Aster airdrop snapshot is set for October 5 at 11:59 pm UTC. The Aster team said the notice on vesting schedules will land before that time. The Aster token rules will then apply to season two accounts.

Aster previously set 320 million ASTER tokens for season two. The project allocated more than 50 percent of total supply to community airdrops. Those figures stand as of the latest remarks.
