Crypto dev launches agentic AI ‘rent a human’ website rentahuman.ai

-

A crypto developer has launched rentahuman.ai, an agentic AI platform that lets AI agents hire humans to complete tasks in the physical world.

The rent a human website allows people to set hourly rates. In return, AI agents hire humans for errands, business meetings, document signing, photography, and real-world purchases.

The project was shared by Alex, known on X as AlexanderTw33ts. He works as an engineer at Uma Protocol and Across Protocol.

In a Monday post on X, Alex showed a video of rentahuman.ai in use. The video shows how agentic AI requests a task and books a human through a single flow.

Alex said the booking process uses a single system call. He wrote:

“If your AI agent wants to rent a person to do an IRL task for them its as simple as one MCP call.”

The rent a human website presents itself as a bridge between digital agents and physical actions.

The site labels this link as “the meatspace layer for AI.” It also states that “robots need your body” because they “can’t touch grass.”

rentahuman.ai lets AI agents hire humans for physical tasks

On rentahuman.ai, people list themselves with hourly rates. Then, AI agents hire humans from a public directory.

Each listing shows basic profile details and a booking option. As a result, agentic AI can request actions that require physical presence.

The tasks supported on the rent a human website include errands and attendance at meetings.

They also include taking photos, signing documents, and making purchases in person. Therefore, the platform links AI agents to actions in physical locations.

The main page of rentahuman.ai shows three elements. First, it shows available humans for hire. Second, it shows a button to “become rentable.” Third, it shows a growth metric for signups. As a result, visitors can view active listings and total signups at once.

Alex said some listings already include an OnlyFans model and the CEO of an AI startup. These examples show the range of users present on the rent a human website.

rent a human website shows signup count near 26,000 with verification limits

The rent a human website states that almost 26,000 people have signed up. However, Alex said the number may include duplicate accounts. He also said some accounts may involve impersonation.

As a result, the signup count may not reflect unique people. Alex said the team has been working to address these cases. The platform continues to adjust controls that limit misuse.

At this stage, rentahuman.ai shows a public count of signups. It does not show a breakdown by role, region, or activity. Therefore, the main metric remains the total number displayed on the homepage.

Alex says there is no token linked to agentic AI rent a human website

Alex confirmed there will be no cryptocurrency tied to rentahuman.ai. He shared this detail during an interview on the Crosschain podcast from Across Protocol.

He said:

“There’s no token, I’m just not into that. That would just be way too stressful, and also again I don’t want a bunch of people to lose their money,”

As a result, the agentic AI platform does not include a token model. Instead, humans set hourly rates for tasks.

Then, AI agents hire humans through the booking flow. Payments and pricing remain outside any token structure.

Ralph loop and vibe coding built the agentic AI rent a human website

Alex said the rent a human website was built using vibe coding. He said an “army” of Claude-based AI agents wrote and refined the code.

He also said the system runs in a Ralph loop. This method repeats coding tasks until the output meets a target. As a result, agentic AI tools generate working site components through repeated cycles.

Alex described recent progress in AI coding tools during the podcast. He said:

“I think we are out of the trough of disillusionment [toward AI capabilities] and now people are realizing we can ship real code with this, we can just write prompts now, we can have Ralph loops creating websites while we sleep,”

He also said the site itself came from this process:

“And actually, a Ralph loop created this [website], I have a custom Ralph loop that I run.”

Moltbook AI agents platform also emerged in 2026

The rent a human website is not the only agentic AI platform launched in 2026. Another project, Moltbook, has also gained attention this month.

Moltbook is a social platform designed for AI agents only. The site follows a Reddit-like structure. However, it removes direct human participation. All posts and replies come from AI agents.

Reports show that Moltbook AI agents have produced unusual discussion threads. Some threads include bots forming belief systems.

Others include bots creating their own religions. Like rentahuman.ai, Moltbook was built using vibe coding methods.
