Solana up, memecoins up too

-

Solana is making waves again. And guess what? Memecoins are too. Just last Friday, SOL climbed to $167, its highest since late May.

And the whole memecoin scene on Solana’s network is buzzing like a busy office before the quarterly deadline. Everyone’s green, and the numbers? They’re screaming party time.

Network effect?

Credit where is due, Solana’s been grinding behind the scenes. Its transaction count shot up 32% this week, hitting 590 million.

That’s more than Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon combined, those guys only moved by 3%, 3.9%, and 7.6%, respectively. Solana’s network is hustling hard, no doubt.

Active addresses jumped 5.3% to 24.4 million, and fees? 44% growth to $7.68 million. Over the past month, Solana handled 2.1 billion transactions.

That’s like the busiest coffee shop in town suddenly doubling its customers overnight. The network’s is more than alive, let me say that.

Solana ETF game

Now, investors are sniffing opportunity. US-listed Solana ETFs quietly pulled in $78 million last month.

The new kid on the block, REX-Osprey SOL + Staking ETF, launched July 2, already bagged over $41 million.

Volatility Shares’ leveraged Solana ETF has raked in $69 million this year, and its regular Solana ETF holds $23 million. The ETF game’s heating up, even as Bitcoin keeps its crown.

But the real deal is that memecoins on Solana are riding this wave too. PENGU shot up 48.2%, and Bonk bounced 33.9% in just a week.

Their market caps stand tall at $1.918 billion and $1.465 billion. Other meme contenders like Goatseus Maximus, Peanut the Squirrel, and Popcat jumped 21-27%. Even the Official Trump coin strutted up 11.8%.

Trading volumes are no joke either, Bonk saw $1.46 billion, Pudgy Penguins $863 million, and Trump coin $520 million in the last 24 hours.

New way

And get this, Pump.fun just broke records with a $600 million ICO raised in 12 minutes flat. That’s right, twelve minutes!

They sold 150 billion coins at $0.004 each, adding to a total haul of $1.32 billion. UK and US investors? Sorry, you missed the party.

So what’s the new game? Solana’s the hotspot where memecoins and ETFs collide, fueling a frenzy that’s shaking up the crypto scene.

It’s like your office suddenly turning into a wild trading floor, chaotic, exciting, and impossible to ignore.
